Unable to dictate into practice software
If you are able to dictate into Notepad or Microsoft Word, and not able to dictate into your practice software.
Your practice software may be running as an administrator. Talkingvet by default does not run as an administrator.
Using AVImark for an example, this is how I would check if AVImark is running as an administrator.
- Right click on the desktop shortcut for AVImark
- Select Properties
- On the Tab labeled 'Shortcut' click Advanced
- View the status of the checkbox "Run as administrator"
To allow Talkingvet to also run as an administrator, try the following:
- Close Talkingvet
- Right click on the desktop shortcut for Talkingvet, click properties
- On the Shortcut Tab, click Advanced.
- Check the checkbox for "Run as administrator"
- Click OK, click OK
- Double click on the Talkingvet desktop shortcut again.
- IF prompted to "Allow this application to make changes to your device" you must select YES
